Guidelines For Weekly Recycling Pick-up 

You simply place all your recyclable items loosely together, there is no need to separate!

Please place your recycling cart or city bin(s) on the opposite side of your driveway from your trash container or at least 4 feet apart at the curb

Please Rinse All Containers

Acceptable Items

  • Scrap Metal-(household quantities) Silverware, pot & pans etc.

  • Junk mail & magazines

  • Newspaper

  • Aerosol Cans (Empty)

  • Office paper

  • Shredded paper in closed paper bags

  • Phone books

  • Paper grocery bags

  • Cereal ,chip, cake, cracker boxes

  • Pop, beer, tissue boxes

  • Egg cartons

  • Corregated cardboard 

  • Aluminum cans

  • All tin & steel cans

  • Glass food jars (brown, Green & clear)

  • Glass beverage bottles (green, clear or brown)

  • Rinsed motor oil bottles
All Plastic #1 through #5

Kids toys
Laundry detergents
ketchup bottles
Soda & water bottles
Butter tubs & dairy containers
Kitty litter buckets, large plastic pails, plastic flower pots etc.

  • Foam, styrofoam

  • Used Paper plates

  • Diapers

  • Pizza boxes

  • Food waste

  • Window glass

  • Mirrors

  • Light bulbs

  • Yard waste & garden material
