Trash and Recycling Pickup - North St. Paul
Since 2019, North St. Paul has used a single-hauler system, contracting Tennis Sanitation to serve every home with four units or fewer. From the historic downtown to the neighborhoods near Casey Lake Park, residents enjoy one low, city-negotiated rate and consistent weekly pickup.

Tennis Sanitation runs four collection days, all between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

✔ Place carts at the curb after 6:00 p.m. the night before or by 6:00 a.m. on your day
✔ Keep each cart within 2 feet of the curb and 3–4 feet from other objects
✔ Never place carts in the street
✔ Lid opening faces the roadway
Large Items, Yard Waste & Special Pickups
✔ Furniture, appliances, mattresses, and similar bulk items collected by appointment
✔ Yard-waste cart service (April–November) or on-call bag pickup
✔ Charges vary by item, city staff will quote current fees when you schedule

✔ Tight-fitting lids required—no leaks or odors
✔ No overfilling above cart rim by more than 4 inches
✔ Carts must handle normal weekly volume
✔ Roll-offs and dumpster bags permitted only through licensed providers
