Recycling

* * RECYCLING ALERT * *

Due to the lack of end market recycling, we will NO longer be able to accept retail plastic bags as part of our recycling program. Retail plastic bags will now need to be placed with your trash – or returned to your local retailer for recycling – THANK YOU for your cooperation on this matter.

Single Stream Recycling

What is single stream recycling?

Single stream recycling allows both residential and commercial recyclers to place all recyclables into one bin, regardless of material type. This makes recycling easier for the consumer and increases participation throughout the community.

What are the benefits of a single stream system?

Simplifying the process results in higher consumer participation, more recyclables collected, and less waste in our landfills.

How is single stream waste sorted?

Tennis Recycling, L.L.C. sorts single stream waste using its state-of-the-art separating system. It is designed and built around the unique needs and requirements of the community and specific materials it recycles. This system processes and separates all recyclables into reusable end products.

How does it work?

Once collected, materials are delivered to our Recycling Facility located in St. Paul Park, MN to be processed in our single stream recycling facility.

Tips for curbside recycling

  • Be sure to put your materials out by 6am on your normal trash day.
  • Please prepare materials correctly and only include items accepted through our program. Including additional materials makes processing more costly.
  • Please avoid breaking glass! Glass shards are difficult to sort by color, and even more difficult to market.
  • Place all your recyclables loosely into your cart. No need to bag them, except for shredded paper and linens.
