What’s Included in Bayport’s Residential Service

Weekly trash and recycling collection in Bayport takes place every Monday morning. The City of Bayport uses a volume-based billing system, where the size of your trash cart determines your monthly fee. Recycling is included at no extra charge, and all billing is handled through your city utility account.

We offer three trash cart sizes to meet your household needs:

• 35-gallon cart
• 65-gallon cart
• 95-gallon cart

How to Prepare for Collection

To make sure your weekly Monday collection goes smoothly:

Place carts curbside by 6:30 a.m. each Monday
Keep carts within 2 feet of the curb or alley
Leave at least 2 feet between the trash and recycling carts
Close lids fully and position handles or arrows facing away from street

Following these steps helps ensure safe, efficient service and reduces the chance of missed pickups.

Bulky item pickup (furniture, appliances, mattresses)—call in advance for scheduling and current pricing
Yard waste pickup available seasonally or bagged for an extra fee

Monthly incentive: homes with carts set out on recycling day can win the city’s “Get Caught Recycling” award
